Launch of CHIMS - Cultural Heritage Inventory Management System

The Cultural Heritage Inventory Management System (CHIMS) is currently being updated. The State Heritage Inventory is a computer database that lists all items of heritage significance in Malta. It consists of two related lists: 1 Items of heritage significance to the State. 2 All other items protected under the Heritage Act. The Inventory includes both protected and unprotected items (see LISTINGS) and will eventually include all items identified in heritage studies and registers compiled by other organisations, such as the Heritage Malta and NGO’s. It includes an interim list of items of State heritage significance.
